At Athena Le Perron, we want to give this luxury plenty of space. That’s why we’ve added two new Panorama Lodges: fully equipped glamping tents with excellent insulation, making them suitable for rental in all seasons. This way, you can enjoy outdoor fun throughout autumn and winter, with a practical and cozy nest as your temporary home base.
Comfort surrounded by nature
The Panorama Lodge combines the look and space of a safari tent with the convenience of a tiny house. The spacious seating area invites good conversation, reading a book, and planning for the next day. With your own bathroom, everything is right at hand.
The double glass sliding door is a major plus and explains the lodge’s name. Natural light floods in and you enjoy an unbeatable view of the Warche valley.
An autumn weekend to blow away the cobwebs, a calm winter midweek, or an energetic start to early spring. Le Perron bathes in a different atmosphere each season. The brand-new Panorama Lodges let you make the most of this lovely park and beautiful region.
Hiking boots on, adventure calls!
Le Perron is a great spot for those who love to get out and about. Nearby are the High Fens with their vast heathlands and forests. Walk along the river in the Warche valley and explore the area around Reinhardstein castle, towering between wooded slopes. Prefer two wheels? This region offers a wide range of mountain biking opportunities.
A day trip can naturally end with a treat. Near Belgium Peak Beer, you can combine a set hiking route with a meal, or choose a brewery tour with tasting. A leisurely afternoon strolling in Malmedy followed by lunch in a cozy brasserie is also a top idea.
Coming home to Athena
Home sweet home—that’s how it instantly feels at Le Perron. During the colder months, the sauna is a welcome treat for legs that have walked or cycled eagerly. On Saturday evenings, the hosts light the wood stove in the bar. Meeting other guests happens effortlessly, giving a winter stay that familiar Athena vibe: relaxed enjoyment with room for yourself and for others.
And the next morning? You can do nothing or everything. Maybe a new walking route awaits. Perhaps it’s a late brunch followed by a board game and some lounging under a blanket.
